A) The machine come equipped with a safety trigger that shuts off the machine when the motor gets above a certain temperature. However, this should rarely happen during normal use. If it happens often, it may mean that the user is pushing vegetables into the grater instead of just allowing the machine to grate the vegetables at it's own pace. If the machine does not grate anymore, please give it a couple minutes to cool down and continue again by not pushing the vegetables at all instead just guiding them in with your hands.
