Some runners prefer to run in a sock with a lot of cushioning. We put all the cushioning we could into the Maximum Cushion Running socks. They are a High Density protective padded sock. We used dense padding as opposed to thick padding, as it protects feet without adversely affecting the fit of the shoes.
