Winner - 2009 Best Holiday Album (ZMR Music Awards), Stanton Lanier's sixth album December Peace is a distinctive collection of traditional and original piano melodies offering peace and rest for your holiday season. Recorded at Imaginary Road Studios in Vermont, this is his third project with Grammy winning producer Will Ackerman, Founder of Windham Hill Records. December Peace also features award winning guest artists on English horn (Jill Haley), cello (Eugene Friesen), flugel horn (Jeff Oster) and vocals (Noah Wilding). <P>In 2004 Stanton founded Music to Light the World, a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization with a program called Get Music Give Hope, where for every album purchased one album is donated to a cancer center or hospital offering hope and healing to patients. 20,000 CDs have been donated as of December 2011.
