The newest series from To Love-Ru author Kentaro Yabuki, Darling in the Franxx takes place in a post-apocalyptic world in which humanity is driven to the brink of annihilation by giant beasts called klaxosaurs. In the military city of Plantation, children are grouped into boy-girl pairs and trained to pilot giant mecha called Franxx. Hiro, one such child, fails his tests, leaving him unable to pilot a Franxx and with no desire to live. Soon, however, he meets Zero Two, an infamous Franxx pilot who has klaxosaur blood, giving her red horns on her head. After tragedy strikes and both their partners are killed in a klaxosaur attack, Zero Two convinces Hiro to team up with her as her new partner, and so their fight against the klaxosaurs begins. The story kicks off in volume 1 of the Japanese manga which also includes four pages of color pin-ups you won't want to miss!
