TAB-ITâ„¢ Indexing Systems' patented DSM-5 index tabs are the original tabs for use with the DSM-5. Designed in 1995 by psychology graduate students, they were recognized as a national leader for design and function by Business, Forms, Labels and Systems magazine. The TAB-ITâ„¢ Indexing System is comprised of 69 laminated tabs and an installation template. Tabs are color coded for quick access: children's diagnoses are yellow, substance related diagnoses are orange, moods are blue, etc. Each tab has the diagnosis scripted on it, and is easily applied using the installation template. No cutting, punching, or writing - just peel and stick! Once applied, the tabs are permanent and so strong you can literally hold the book up by a tab. Page numbers are assigned as described below:<br><br> PAGE NUMBER ASSIGNMENTS <br><br> The installation template suggests a page on which each tab should be installed. Tabs representing a single diagnosis, such as "Autism," are assigned to the first page of that section. Tabs representing more than one diagnosis, such as "DELUSN, BrPsych, SchizFrm," are assigned to a page roughly in the middle of those sections. Users can search to the left of the tab to find the first diagnosis, and to the right to find the last diagnosis. If desired, the tabs may be installed on different pages than designated.
