It's powered by two AA batteries (not included) and has a very sleek and contemporary style to look nice wherever you choose to use it. The female voice is in English and can even be used as a time training tool for children. The voice will distort when the batteries are ready to be changed. This feature makes low battery obvious for the visually impaired.
