The RS00-G5 Cool Start Add-On Remote-Start Module for OEM Systems from Crime Stopper Security Products is a complete "add-on" remote start system that utilizes your factory keyless entry transmitter to start the vehicle. You will not have to carry any extra transmitters or any aftermarket remote. Simply press the lock button of the factory remote 3 times and the vehicle will start. NOTE: Some factory keyless entry remotes disengage when the vehicle's ignition is turned on. If this happens in your car, then you will need to use a remote start system that comes with an aftermarket remote for keyless entry once the engine is running. Consult with your installer to find out if your vehicle must use an aftermarket remote.
