Hundreds of square miles of Cretaceous era landscape has mysteriously appeared in southwest New Mexico. On vacation, Cody Storm and three friends investigate this land out of time and find a complete ecology full of ancient plants and dinosaurs, some of which see man as a new food source. One of these seems to be smarter than any dinosaur imagined, and they have taken a disliking to the tailless intruders. <br /> <br />Hired to investigate what appears to be a crash site in the exact center of the transplanted landscape, they battle storms and man-eating raptors, and discover Earth may have become part of a galactic war where entire worlds are destroyed.
