U.S. Navy Core Values  Embodying the values of honor, courage, and commitment, the men and women of the U.S. Navy carry the cause of freedom and democracy to the far reaches of the globe. Proud members of the world's most elite maritime force, they serve to strengthen the Navy's long-established tradition of excellence. Vigilantly defending America's interests throughout the world, the men and women of the U.S. Navy risk their lives to enhance the nation's security. This coin is dedicated to all U.S. Navy personnel, whose service and sacrifice strengthens America's defense. Both the obverse and reverse contain the fouled anchor design. Incorporated in this design on the obverse is the Navy's official seal. The reverse contains the Colonial-era seal of the U.S. Navy.  Minted in a brass alloy, this coin contains colorful enamel accents on both sides. Each coin comes packaged with a detailed header card that underscores the Navy's proud tradition.
