Great news for all bird enthusiasts! <br><br> Wild Republic has entered into a partnership with the National Audubon Society to create a line of realistic looking plush beanbag birds. <br><br> When this male Black-Capped Chickadee is squeezed you will hear him sing an authentic song to defend a territory and attract a mate. <br><br> The Black-Capped Chickadee is the state bird of Massachusetts and Maine. <br><br> Black-capped Chickadees are found year-round in the northern United States and into Canada. They feed on insects, seeds and berries. Chickadees nest in cavities in the soft wood of dead or dying trees and are frequent visitors to backyards. These curious little birds will sometimes take sunflower seeds from an outstretched hand. Their song is a clear, two-pitched fee-bee, and their call sounds much like their name, chick-a-dee.
