The CT7 Carbide Tipped Hole Cutter is the perfect tool for the professional electrician, plumber, mechanic, and contractor. Some common applications include drilling through junction/switch boxes, metal studs, appliances, auto body repair, truck/trailer frames, and ductile pipe. Ideal for cutting steel plate, iron, aluminum, copper, cast iron, stainless steel, fiberglass and plastics up to 1" thick. The 3/8" shank allows for use in corded and cordless electric power drills. It drills faster, cleaner, and lasts longer than bi-metal holesaws. CT7 carbide tipped hole cutters can also be an alternative to a 1/2" shank Silver and Deming (S&D) Drill. Because it cuts along the perimeter, it drills faster and cleaner than a twist drill. The triple edge cutting system features two sets of three cutting blades, each with different geometries.
