This Sportsman's Honing Kit includes all the essentials to get your knife back to that fresh out of the box sharpness. This kit includes a 4 inch Soft Arkansas stone, a 3 inch Hard Arkansas, and a 3 ounce bottle of honing oil. The Soft Arkansas is a coarse stone. Coarse stones are the foundation stones of any sharpening kit. Using a coarse stone is the fastest way to get a good shape on an edge. The Hard Arkansas is a finer stone which is used to refine the edge, improving the quality of the cut it delivers. The Case honing oil is designed for use with sharpening stones while sharpening. Only a very little dab is needed when sharpening so the oil will last you a while. This kit comes shrink wrapped. Made in Bradford, PA, USA from domestic and imported materials.
