Overview: CardioChek HDL Test strips provide a quantitative measurement of high density lipoprotein in whole blood. CardioChek HDL Test Strips are to be used with the CardioChek Meter. HDL Cholesterol often referred to as "Good Cholesterol" is an important component of a lipid profile. A low HDL indicates increased risk of coronary heart disease while high LDL level indicates lower risk. A memo chip is provided with each package of test strips. After the memo chip and test strip are placed in the CardioChek Meter and the blood sample is applied to the test strip, the CardioChek Meter provides quick accurate results.
