This drive carrier accommodates 3.5-inch SAS or SATA hard drives of any capacity and supports 6Gbps performance when used with a 6 Gbps drive and host configuration. It is backward compatible with 3 Gbps drives and hosts. Soft start circuitry increases data integrity by eliminating in-rush current during spin-up. The Data Express DX115 SAS/SATA 6G connectors are tested and verified for over 25,000 insertions. The rugged steel construction of this removable enclosure dissipates heat and ensures the safety of your drives.
