The M18 Hellcat, officially the 76mm Gun Motor Carriage M18, was one of the best American tank destroyers of WWII. It was the fastest U.S. tracked armored vehicle of that time. The Hellcat was the most effective U.S. tank destroyer especially during hit-and-run attacks. It was relatively light, and its main gun could easily penetrate the enemy’s armor. The tank’s crew consists of 5 soldiers: Commander, Gunner, Loader, Driver and Assistant Driver. This new model from COBI is a perfect replication of this historic tank. The block model consists of movable wheels, rotating turret and rotating heavy machine gun equipped with an ammunition pack and hatches that can be opened. The set also has two figures of American soldiers: the commander armed with an automatic pistol MI9II and a foot soldier with a rocket launcher M1 “Bazooka”, a spade, a hatcher and a hammer. In addition, a special playing card with vehicle statistics can be found inside.
