Aurora, better known as sleeping beauty, is the main female character in Disney's sleeping beauty. She's a princess, but lives until she's 16 with the three good fairies fauna, flora and merryweather. The beautiful young princess is brought up by the three fairies to be good natured and polite. She is highly imaginative and Dreamy, but because of her Isolation, she is also rather shy and fearful, except of course with the animals of the forest. She plays with them as with friends and sees them as confidants to whom she can reveal her dreams and desires. While still young, she pricks her finger on a spindle and falls into a 100-year sleep– a curse by the evil fairy Maleficent. She is finally saved by Prince Philip and falls in love with him.
