The album is the first without drummer/vocalist Nick D'Virgilio, who was replaced by Enchant vocalist Ted Leonard and former touring drummer Jimmy Keegan. Brief Nocturnes... was produced by Rich Mouser, Alan Morse and John Boegehold.
