Legendary jazz pianist, Kenny Barron, returns with his renowned trio to deliver Book of Intuition, his latest album on Impulse! Alongside Kiyoshi Kitagawa on double bass and Johnathan Blake on drums, Barron presents a series of original compositions as well as a tune by one of his main influences, Thelonious Monk and his rendition of "Nightfall", which serves as a tribute to its composer and Barron's close friend and collaborator, the late Charlie Haden.
