2013 debut from the British Dance/Pop/R&B duo featuring Aluna Francis and George Reid. AlunaGeorge take the boom of British bass culture and marries it to the sweet slickness of classic American R&B. In the 12 months since their first release went viral, AlunaGeorge's DIY video for 'You Know You Like It' has clocked up over 2 million views, the band were crowned the most blogged artist of 2012, they sold out a European tour, performed at Moschino's catwalk show during London Fashion Week and made the top 3 for both last year's prestigious BRITS Critics Award and the BBC Sound of 2013 (#2). These accolades, and the universal praise heaped upon the duo's shoulders, were of course a direct result of the incredibly fresh and unique music the pair are producing.
