Bed Exit Alarm for Seniors Fall Prevention - Basic System
- Use one 9-volt battery in the bed alarm (not included)
- To silence the bed exit alarm, simply press the reset button located on the front of the monitor.
- System includes 1 Monitor and 1 Bed Sensor Pad.
This low cost, interchangeable bed & chair exit alarm package alerts a caregiver when a resident is about to get up from a bed or chair unassisted so the caregiver may provide assistance. Place the bed sensor pad across the width of the bed, under the fitted sheet. Position the pad under the shoulder blades for an alert when the resident sits up or position the pad under the hips for an alert when the resident is lifting out of the bed. Place the chair sensor pad on the seat of a chair. Alarm will sound as the resident attempts to get up from the weight sensing bed or chair pad. To silence the alarm, press the rest button on the front of the alarm or reapply weight to the sensor pad.
