In the WAR issue of Beatdom we look at Kerouac, Burroughs, and Ginsberg's experiences during World War II, as well as how they reacted to later wars, and how Ginsberg invented the concept of "flower power." We also look at how postmemory influenced the work of second generation Beat writers, and how the British Beat culture developed differently due to the war in Europe.
