• EZ RIVET: This sturdy, metalworking tool pierces metal and sets semi-tubular rivets and eyelets. Many jewelry makers use riveting as a cold forging process. Since the metals used in jewelry are often very soft and sensitive, riveting allows jewelry makers to join together separate components without exposing them to the heat necessary for soldering.
• PIERCING: The EZ-Rivet features two 1/16” T-bar screws, which can be switched out for a different size. (3/32” kit sold separately.) To use, place your metal blank or sheet metal under the piercing tool. Turn the screw clockwise until the metal is pierced. Turn counterclockwise to raise the T-bar and release your piece.
• TIPS AND TRICKS: Our piercing and setting tool works best with metal sheets up to 18 gauge. There is a deep recess for extended 7/8” (22mm) reach. The domed base was designed for use with rings and other curved items. Also included in an allen key, which is helpful when turning the T-bar.

Made of tool steel, each punch is tempered for making precision holes in metal up to 18 gauge. Simply use one end of the tool to create hole for rivet, insert tubular rivet into created hole. Use other end of tool to fasten metals pieces together with rivet. Tool will with included piercing tip will make a 1.6mm (1/16") hole. 3/32" riveting kit sold separately. Deep recess for extended 7/8" (22mm) reach. Screw action makes holes without deforming metal. Pins are replaceable, so when worn, they can be easily changed for a clean cut every time.
