Pistol Barrel Safety Chamber Flag 9mm - Durable High-Visibility Barrel Block for Safe & Realistic Dry Fire Practice - Made from Heavy-Duty Nylon - Easy to Install & Remove - Sold in Packs of 5
A barrel plug is a safety device constructed of injection molded polymer and provides immediate visual recognition of an empty chamber. The plug installs easily by removing the slide and barrel or BCG for a rifle according to the weapon manufacturer's instructions. NOTE: The weapon must be unloaded and clear of any ammunition prior to starting this process. Insert the barrel blocking safety plug for your weapon and reassemble. NOTE: It is critical to lubricate your barrel plug PRIOR to inserting it through the chamber of your rifle. Lubricate the shaft and chamber block then reassemble and function check for good measure. A Garret Machine Barrel Blocking Safety Plug provides the user with a realistic training platform. You can use your own actual weapon safely in home, at the range or other authorized location for dry practice training drills. This device enables the user to fully manipulate all controls, magazine, slide/bolt and other actions on the weapon. Enables the weapons to be holstered and can be cut to adequate barrel length. Firearms cannot chamber a round without disassembly. Remember to always lubricate prior to use for easy removal. Both rifles and handguns with a plug installed are rendered inert, requiring disassembly and correct reassembly before a round can be chambered. The plug can be used to execute trigger reset exercises, reloads, CQC, Defensive Tactics and other realistic scenarios safely. With a plug installed in each student's weapon in the training environment becomes entirely inert, safely allowing training.
