- Made of bronze for higher strength and corrosion resistance than brass
- Rising stem with inside screw lifts with the gate to signal visually when the valve is open
- 300 pounds per square inch (gauge) (psig) for cold working pressure (CWP) and 150 psig for steam working pressure (SWP)
- Female National Pipe Taper (NPT) threads for use with male threaded pipes
- Top-mounted iron hand wheel for lowering and lifting the gate
