Anthony Brown is a brilliant singer, songwriter, choir director and vocal arranger with writing credits for songs recorded by Maurette Brown Clark and Stephen Hurd along with being the vocal director for BET s Celebration of Gospel for 2006 & 2007. <br><br>Anthony attended Morgan State University where he studied piano and choral conducting under the tutelage of the late, great Dr. Nathan M. Carter. Beyond Dr. Carter, Brown sites being greatly influenced by mentors Richard Smallwood and Donald Lawrence while drawing from the Hawkins family for writing/vocal arrangements. Spiritual, Anthony is known to show his love for God in his daily walk. <br><br>"I come from a line of preachers and bishops starting with my grandfather, my father and my older brother. My dad (Bishop Heber M. Brown, Jr.) is my strongest spiritual influence and other than him, I draw guidance from my pastor, Pastor John Jenkins and also Bishop T.D.
