Modeled loosely after a medieval bestiary, these witty, playful, whipsmart essays traverse history, myth, science, and more, bringing each beast vibrantly to life. </p><p><B>Elena Passarello </B>is an actor, a writer, and recipient of a 2015 Whiting Fellowship in nonfiction.
