The i209-GM 9-inch Restyle dash system is Alpine engineered for 2013-up Chevy Silverado or GMC Sierra trucks. It’s a mech-less AM/FM/Bluetooth system (no CD/DVD slot) with a 9-inch WVGA capacitive touch screen and dash bezel fitted for these trucks. The i209-GM is compatible with Apple Car Play and Android Auto with the Google Assistant so you can access maps, music, messages and calls from your smartphone. Keep your smartphone safely stored away and access these features by voice control using the “Microphone” button or the touch screen (Apple Car Play requires a compatible iPhone connected via the Apple lightning cable; Android Auto requires both a USB cable and Bluetooth connection, an Android phone running 5.0 [Lollipop] or higher, and the Android Auto app.) The i209-GM does not have a built-in navigation system, but navigation guidance is available through maps on Apple Car Play or Android Auto. The i209-GM is sound tuned by Alpine for the Silverado and Sierra cabin, or tailor your system even further with adjustments to time correction, dual HD EQ, Media Expander, and crossovers. The i209-GM retains select factory controls like OnStar, the factory BOSE sound system (requires the KCX-BOSE-GM module, sold separately), warning tones, and steering wheel controls. Customized information like performance gauges and climate status screens are viewable on the screen. The i209-GM is compatible with Alpine rear and front view cameras (sold separately) for added confidence when driving. If you have accessories light a light bar or motorized tonneau cover, they can be controlled from the i209-GM’s touch screen (requires the KAC-001 accessory controller, sold separately).
