The i109-WRA 9-inch Restyle dash system is Alpine engineered for Jeep Wranglers 2011-up. It is optimized for AM/FM/Apple CarPlay capability and the 9-inch WVGA screen is the largest aftermarket screen available for Apple CarPlay. The system consists of the screen and a fitted dash bezel with large back-lit buttons for a factory look. Apple CarPlay uses Siri voice control to make calls, access text messages, play music and deliver driving directions, with the corresponding information played through the Wrangler’s speaker system. The capacitive touch screen can also be used to access these features, delivering the information on screen through the familiar Apple interface. Apple CarPlay supports third party apps, so the content from these apps is accessible on the i109-WRA. Personalized sound settings for your Wrangler are easily available through the free Alpine TuneIt smartphone app. Use the app to adjust settings like time correction, parametric EQ, and crossover points, then upload them to the i109-WRA for customized sound and immediate enhancements. The i109-WRA retains select factory vehicle controls and features like the voice activated media player and steering wheel controls. Customized vehicle information like tire pressure, battery voltage and user selectable gauges can also be viewed on the screen.
