Sonora Poncena, under the direction of Papo Lucca, has been one of the most revered Salsa orquestas from Puerto Rico to this day. Their sophisticated yet accessible rhythms have captivated audiences all over the hemisphere. This album, one of their most sought after. Originally released in 1971, this was the 3rd LP after two ground-breaking releases. This record was produced by Larry Harlow and the result was nothing short of stellar. The release solidifed their standing and gained them even wider acceptance. With trumpet and rhythm sections in sync, Papo's piano lines never cease to amaze. A must- have for all Salsa fans.
