Absinthe Balancier (see-saw dripper), Stainless Steel

A must have for any absintheur, this Balancier is another way of slowly adding sugar and water to a traditional absinthe. Sometimes referred to as the Cusenier "Auto Verseur" or see-saw, this piece is for a single serving. To use, first pour one dose (30ml) of absinthe into an absinthe glass, then place an absinthe spoon atop the glass and a sugar cube on the spoon. The balancier is then situated on top of the glass and over the spoon and sugar cube. Ice and water are added inside the dripper. The water begins to slowly drip through a small hole located at the bottom of the dripper. Each droplet falls onto the lever which creates a see-saw motion dispensing the water onto the sugar cube and the sugar water drips into the glass of absinthe.
