This is the Abaco Little Giant 50 Slab Lifter (ALG Series) and this is exactly what you need for material handling with slabs of stone. This new ALG-50 Abaco Lifter replaces the old 30, 40, 50 series and is designed for lifting 10 to 50mm thick material. The design features improved clamps with rubber-lined jaws especially developed to handle material in slab or sheet form, stacked in racks, without damaging the material's surfaces. They have a number of advantages over the common clamping devices-- they have a force-multiplying factor of approximately 2.7 to 1 compared with the Old Abaco Lifter of approximately 2.5 to 1. And this improved model is a lot safer than previous models and competitor's products. It has an unbreakable Centre Plate. Which makes it far Safer.
