To prevent an increase in friction on the insides of the extractor due to the top and bottom edges of the link growing apart, do not remove the jaws of the tool from the trailing arm. If you install the bushing crooked and it does not seat properly, you can press it out and repeat. To easier set the new bushing in the correct spot, you can measure the distance from the trailing arm bush to the trailing arm and mark the old bushings before removal. Apply lubrication on this tool before use. 14mm socket size required to rotate the thread, not included.
