A Small Untroubled World Wall Calendar: Born in Germany but raised in the United States, Gustave Baumann (1881-1971) supported his family as a young man by working for a commercial engraving house. In 1918, Baumann moved to the American Southwest, where he would become an integral part of the Santa Fe artists' community. For more than fifty years, he captured the crystalline light and rich colors of the landscape with affection, grace, and subtlety.
