The Estes Designs aluminum trimmer guard strengthens your post base and protects it from weather, rust, rot, lawnmowers and weed eater damage! The trimmer guard's durable, pre-bent design gives your mailbox post a uniform, clean straight corner. The adjustable design expands and allows trimmer guard to fit various post sizes, but the position of the seam will vary based on the post size (see picture three for reference).Each piece has 2 pre-drilled holes to keep the screw in place while ensuring uniform screw spacing. Package includes zinc-coated self-tapping screws and step-by-step easy installation instructions. The guards can also be used to protect fence and deck posts.
