Dritz 3/8" covered set-in shoulder pads provide soft natural shaping to garment sewing projects as well as store-bought clothing. <br /><br /><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>INSTRUCTIONS</strong></span>: <br />Positioning Shoulder Pads: <br />1)Try on garment or place garment on dressform and insert shoulder pads. Set-in style shoulder pads should extend about 3/8 inch beyond the sleeve seam. If one end of shoulder pad is longer than the other, position longer end toward front of garment. Adjust pads as needed. <br />2)On outside of garment, pin through pads along shoulder seams. <br /><br />Attaching Shoulder Pads: <br />Tack-In Method – Turn garment to wrong side and tack shoulder pad loosely to shoulder and sleeve seam allowance. <br />Sew-In Method – For greater security, loosely hand stitch shoulder pad along shoulder seam allowances. Tack ends of pad to armhole seam allowances.
