The 3 sections are hinged together [with a heavy cotton fiber tape that will not crack over time], and unfold to produce the round board which can be lifted, and carried to another table if necessary.
• Game comes with 48 Staunton style pieces which are solid plastic with felt bottoms, comprising 3 teams of 16 pieces each, black, gray, and ivory in color.
