'1984' is the next installment in Ryan Adams' Pax-Am 7-inch series and the 10-song 7-inch is an homage to the halcyon days of the earliest releases from Dischord, SST, Touch & Go and their ilk. A concise, intense and completely self-contained musical statement, '1984' was recorded and released completely separate from Adams' upcoming self-titled album.
