Twelve of the late Tejano diva's hits are collected here, making for an excellent introduction to her passionate singing. Though fans won't find "Amor Prohibido," arguably Selena's biggest hit, all the others are here, including "Como la Flor" and "Bidi Bidi Bom Bom," some of fellow vocalist Pete Astudillo's best compositions. Overall, the album has a rollicking, vibrant flair, and those few Latin-music lovers unfamiliar with Selena will find a solid introduction with this CD. <I>--Karen Karleski</I>
