The slots on the outside of the woodworking square cauls are made to hold pennies firmly in place to support your band clamps at varying heights.

• Instructions: Glue and assemble the box. Place one wood clamp caul at a corner of the box so the caul’s pressure points line up with the fingers of the joint. Notice that cauls have an X on the end and nothing on the other. Depending on how the first caul is placed, this corner square tool is placed diagonally from this one and will need to be oriented the same way.
